GE foods are neither safe nor needed say genetic engineers

More and more information from credible sources are condemning genetically modified foods. An article in Peoples’ Coop newspaper stated the following:

Genetically engineered crops and foods are neither safe nor necessary to feed the world, says a new report by genetic engineers. The second edition of GMO Myths and Truths by genetic engineers Dr. John Fagan and Dr. Michael Antonio and researcher Claire Robinson, was released on May 19,2014 as a free download by the sustainability and science policy platform Earth Open Source.

The new edition is 330 pages and summarizes many new studies that are showing serious problems with GMOs and their associated pesticides such as Roundup. There evidence that Roundup even at the low levels permitted in food and drinking water could lead to serious health effects over time, such as liver and kidney toxicity. Based on this evidence, it appears that the levels of exposure currently held as safe by regulators around the world are questionable at best.

The authors say the good news is that GMOs are not necessary to feed the world. The report shows that there are far better ways of ensuring a safe and sustainable food supply. This free report is at: www.s.coop/lurk

As I have written many times before, when man tries to mess with nature, which is already perfect, there will be serious consequences to pay. Monsanto, public enemy number one, cares only about how much money they can make, not about the health of their consumers or the health of our planet. Such greed and short sightedness must come to an end if we as humanity are to survive.

We need to get educated and boycott all such products that threaten are very existence.
